Meetings are now automatically categorized by type, RAD items can be easily tracked and migrated, automation routines support event-based triggers, and numerous quality-of-life improvements across the platform.

#### What's new

### Feature updates

- **Configurable meeting types** — Customize how meetings are categorized. Set custom names and descriptions for meeting types, and meetings are automatically assigned a type during processing so you can filter and search by "Steering Committee" or any type you define.

- **Risks, Actions, Decisions (RAD) rollout** — The new RAID experience launches this week. A migration period begins June 8th to help you review and track existing items. Track RAD items in bulk from the main view, and switch between old and new experiences during the transition.

- **Event-based automation triggers** — Automation routines can now trigger on meeting events instead of just scheduled times. Filter by meeting name, organizer, or attendees using simple conditions like "contains" or "doesn't contain".

- **Chat filtering by meeting type** — When searching for meetings in chat, the agent can now scope results to specific meeting types — for example, "what did we discuss in the last few steercos?"

- **Manual meeting type override** — Each meeting in lists now has a dropdown to manually update its assigned type if the automatic classification needs adjustment.

- **Bulk RAD migration tools** — Multi-select mode shows a floating toolbar at the bottom to track or delete RAD items in bulk, making it easy to port items to the new system.

- **RAD deep links** — Risk, Action, and Decision items now have shareable URLs so they can be referenced directly from chat and other tools.

- **Support for RAD category changes** — The change API now supports creating and modifying Risk and Action categories, so you can update taxonomy on the fly.

- **Configurable automation routine guardrails** — Only admins can now view and modify guardrails in org settings, with feature flag protection in place.

- **Custom email addresses for automation outputs** — Set automation routine outputs to send to any email address instead of just the creator's inbox.

### Improvements

- **Activity table rows are now clickable links** — Middle-click or Ctrl+click (Cmd+click on Mac) to open items in a new tab.

- **Project members and groups UI updated** — The interface for managing project members and system groups now matches the updated design language.

- **Permissions page clarity** — The permissions interface now shows clear status of whether permissions are already granted.

- **Setup status visibility** — Integrations page now clearly communicates when a feature has been set up correctly or needs attention.

- **Meeting organizer shown in Needs Review** — Reviewers can now see who organized a meeting in the Needs Review inbox to make tagging decisions more easily.

- **Automation routine inputs fixed** — Search and typing in automation routine input fields now work correctly.

- **Pre-populated automation triggers removed** — Routines no longer have a default scheduled time trigger, making it easier to add event-based triggers without manual deletion.

- Duplicate tags during meeting pre-tagging no longer cause SQL failures.

- Calendar invitations sent to group aliases now appear on user homepages.

- SharePoint sync rate-limiting issues resolved to prevent stuck retry loops.

- Chat input now displays a visible cursor indicator when focused.

- Meeting recording icon no longer overlaps with other UI elements.

- Fixed skill pill spacing when no skills are present in chat.

- Automation menu is now visible for editor-role users with the feature enabled.

- Authentication no longer prompts for Face ID in dev environments.

- Database deployment to remote tenants no longer fails on security label statements.

- Lint errors on main branch cleaned up.

- Docker build failures due to missing vendor directory resolved.

#### What's new

### Feature updates

- **Risk management interface** — Create, view, and manage risks alongside your action items and decisions. Organize by category, filter by severity, and track relationships to decisions and action items all from a dedicated risk table.

- **Teams output for automation routines** — Automations can now send their outputs to Microsoft Teams channels, letting you share automated outputs with all your team members without them having to leave they tool they work in every day.

- **Run automation routines immediately** — Test automation templates before enabling them by running them on demand.

- **Calendar syncing for group calendars** — Merge meetings and calendars into a single view. Hide legacy settings under advanced options and add support for excluding meetings using negative keywords with live preview.

- **Calendar group sharing** — Invite team members to newly created calendar groups so everyone can add events from the shared project calendar in Outlook. Events added to this calendar will automatically get tagged to the project, which makes meeting tagging simple and seamless.

- **Attendee list accuracy on summaries** — The summary page now shows only people who actually attended or spoke on the call, not those who were invited but didn't join.

- **Auto-tagging meetings by keyword** — Meetings matching project keywords are now automatically tagged instead of requiring manual review.

### Improvements

- **Skill suggestions are more relevant** — Suggested skills for activities are now more focused and closely matched to the activity type, reducing confusion and improving accuracy.

- **Better attendee names for Teams calls** — Ad hoc Teams calls now use attendee names instead of "Empty Subject" as the title, making them easier to identify.

- **Retag meetings with updated rules** — After adjusting project tagging rules, you can now retag meetings in needs-review with the new rules applied.

- **Automation template documentation** — Added inline help and guidance throughout the automation routines feature so you can discover and understand how to use it.

### Bug fixes

- Fixed calendar sync incorrectly showing old meetings when switching from legacy to custom sync.
- Fixed RAID log exports generating empty files.
- Fixed milestone deletion causing errors when editing project context in chat.
- Fixed automation prompts resetting or mixing across different automations.
- Fixed .pptx uploads failing when listed as a supported format.
- Fixed demo environment skills failing with missing project data.
- Fixed attendee list including invited people who didn't actually join the call.

- **Scope item deletion from explorer** — Delete scope items directly from the scope explorer without needing to go back to project settings.
- **Support Access in settings menu** — Support Access now has a dedicated menu item in organization settings and is no longer hidden. This feature is in beta, reach out if you would like to test it out.

#### What's new

### Feature updates

- **Smart keyword suggestions** — Keywords are now automatically extracted from project names and meeting titles to jumpstart accurate tagging. Admins and reviewers can quickly apply suggestions directly in the Needs Review panel.

- **Attendee search on activities** — Find meetings based on specific people or groups who were present, making it easier to locate activities by participant.

- **Support request access control** — Users can now request temporary access to projects through the app. When a support request is active, employees see a screen to select an existing request or are logged out if none are available. Admins can manage requests, audit logs, and access policies in a dedicated interface.

- **Report logo customization** — Replace the default logo in report title cards with your own image. The upload experience matches existing image upload patterns for a consistent feel.

- **Keywords in project settings** — Keywords are now accessible directly in project general settings, making it easier for teams to adjust tagging rules when needed.

- **Sharepoint video sync** — Videos in Sharepoint are now synced efficiently to cloud storage, eliminating memory issues that previously occurred during file processing.

### Improvements

- **Improved Sharepoint file browser** — Navigate folders like in native Sharepoint with hierarchical routing instead of dropdowns. Infinite scroll now displays all content at each level, fixing issues where folders were hidden due to pagination limits.

- **Better profile image empty states** — Missing profile images now display a cleaner, more polished fallback that matches modern design patterns.

- **Enhanced video upload feedback** — Upload status now accurately reflects processing state, avoiding false success confirmations for videos too short to generate an activity.

### Bug fixes

- Fixed images causing crashes when not properly formatted.
- Corrected URL validation in the meeting monitor that was missing a negation condition.
- Duplicate Tato Agent entries no longer appear in meetings due to redundant database inserts.
- Resolved the "Continue" button appearing before processing animation completed, preventing unintended retriggers.
- Fixed orphan tags created when extracting scope items by preserving tag ID references through the extraction process.
- Corrected profile images that were missing or stale in some customer environments.
- Fixed meeting bot staying blank with no recording when join behavior was inconsistent.
- Resolved chat interactions searching across unrelated meetings instead of staying scoped to the selected meeting.
- Recording no longer continues for extended periods after all participants leave meetings.

#### What's new

### Skills: automate your workflow, share what works

Skills do the whole job — pull the data, check the status, write the summary, flag the risk — not just answer a question. Build a skill that works and share it with your team, so everyone's Monday prep runs the same way yours does. New team member mid-implementation? They can hit the ground running with the same skills the rest of the team has been using for months.

### Project onboarding

Tato now has an onboarding flow to let you put critical project context upfront — upload a project charter and key documents, assign a customer, define the project phase, key dates, and more. The more context Tato has about how your project is set up, the better every answer and report gets.

### Report improvements

Single meeting reports are significantly better, with improved source attributions and access to meeting transcripts.

### Tato parle maintenant français

Much of Tato's experience is now available in French. Get in touch with our team to make your company Tato default to French or set your own language in your profile.

### Release notes in the sidebar

You found this — which means it's working! Release notes now appear directly in the sidebar, so you're always a click away from seeing what's fresh out the Tato oven.

### New website

We launched a refreshed [tato.co](https://tato.co/). Take a look.

### Better answers, faster

Tato now thinks in steps. It searches your meetings, figures out what you're really asking, and comes back with a cleaner answer — no more spelling everything out.

### A homepage that knows you

When you open Tato, you'll see prompts based on who you are, what projects you're on, and what day it is. Less hunting, more doing.
